Description: Here is something you don't see often; A Wheeler Recurvate projectile point. Construction is similar to a Simpson Point, but much smaller. These points date to the Paleo era and are small dart points. On one blade face there a nice central flute, while on the opposite side there is 2 parallel flute strikes running up from the base side by side. The base and lateral edges are ground smooth extending 3/4" up from the base corners.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Hardin Co.Tennessee. Ex Rick Miller Collection.
