Description: A fine Mississippian Shell Tempered Bowl with an attractive feature of 'Rim Ticking' all the way around the bowl. Can't find any restoration to speak of except a little spot on the rim and there is one small chip on the rim as well. Pretty solid piece.
Provenance: Found many years ago on private property with permission. Found in northeastern Arkansas near the Mississippi River.
