Description:Stellar example, made of beautiful deep dark mahogany red, river polished Chert. The flaking is classic early Paleo with broad percussion flaking and cross over flakinf as well. Excellent edge work all down the blade, with heavy grinding along the lower lateral edges and the base.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Coffee Co. Alabama. Pea River Basin. Excellent details about the discovery goes to the buyer.
