Description: Clovis points are rare, double fluted Clovis point are are even more rare, especially a 4 inch long one. The large channel flutes are approximately one inch on both blade faces. From the amount of polish you can tell this point was subjected to a lot of water erersion. Flaking displays excellent fine collateral chipping. An ancient ding on one ear probably occured during major flooding event. The base is heavily ground, as are the lateral edges near the base. A true Ice Age Hunter's Spear point.
