Description: Most fossils from the Cretaceous Time Period are found in what is called the 'Black Belt' A geographic formation that extends from the Low Country of South Carolina all the way thru Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi below the Piedmont or Fall Line and contains a lot of Marine fossils. Mosasaurs were a Carnivorous Marine Reptile. Basically, a large Crocodile looking creature with flippers. The tooth is basically complete and is in amazing condition considering how old it is.
