Product Details
~ Beveled Glossy Orange ~ Lost Lake Point ~
Length: 2"+
Grade: 9.5
Description: Another Master Knapper made this jewel pictured here. Nice big, deep notches with small ribbons flakes running up parallel to each other forming a thin base. The blade was finely pressure flaked to create a slight alternating beveled blade edge. The ears are not the same length, and at 1st glance you would think that one ear was broken, but upon close examnation; I can see that while it may have had a longer auricle at one time, the Native American skillfully reworked the ear. Made of beautiful water polished burnt orange Chert. A just beautiful point!
Provenance: Found on private property with permission, Jackson Co. Florida.
