Description: A thin, well made translucent Simpson Projectile Point fashioned from heavily patinated brown translucent Bay Bottom Chert This point was formed by large percussion flake removal followed by careful edgework. The base and lateral edges are ground up to 1 1/2" up from the ears. There is a fault line or crack running thru the stone that has always been present, it is not broken or glued.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Volusia Co. Florida near Lake Monroe. Ex Jarl Malwin Ex Major Spessard, Ex Jacky Fuller. Also comes with a Carlos Tatum C.O.A.
