Description: This point has a nipple-like basal protrusion that resembles a Paleolithic fluting platform. The notches and all basal edges are ground, this example this a rather large central flute on one side while the other side has several parallel thinning strikes going up the from the base. Their connection to the Paleo Lithic Clusters is unknown but it is suggested that these date to the Late Paleo or Proto-Archaic Era.
