Description: Probably dates to the Middle Archaic era because it has been heat treated. This is an Expedient Knife which is similar to the older Paleo Era Waller Knife. This still would have been tied on to a lanyard and hung around the neck, The only modification is a prominant deliberate notch created near the base. The sharp natural edge on the Coral Blade would have been used for cutting.
