Description: Beautiful rare Double Grooved Plummet made of polished Greenstone that is ground to a smooth surface. There was a huge amount of trade conducted during this Woodland Era as the Hopewell groups from Ohio traveled to Florida to trade for shell and the idea to create plummets were one of the things that transfered to become local cultural items. Has one tiny ding inside the groove at the top where it was dropped. Doesn't hurt it's value though.

Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Found many many years ago in Citrus Co. Florida.
