Description: This wonderful orange translucent huge Newnan Spear just under 5 inches long and is pictured in the book; "Archaic Stemmed Edition of Legends in Stone". The ancient polish and patination is very attractive. Workmanship is on par with some of the best I have see. Very thin, with no stacks, bumps or lumps. Interesting stem shape as well. Long spears of the quality are getting harder and harder to find. Always rare and most are locked away in private collections. An investment Grade piece for sure.
