Description: Repeated sharpening events have reduced the length of this wonderfully made Expanded Notch Bolen, but the symmetry and quality in its manufacture is without equal. I could imagine this blade starting out at 6 inches long. Made out of beautiful chocolate brown and cream Bay Bottom Chert. Heavily ground base -smooth as a babies butt.

Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Citrus Co. Florida. Found many years ago from an old collection.
