Description: Middle Mississippian (1400 AD.). Most pottery vessel are crushed in the ground, so this piece does have a little restoration around the neck, as you can see a couple of pieces were glued back into place. There is an interresting feature near the base of the neck in the form of a geometric pattern of small raised nodes.

Provenance: Found many years ago on private property with permission. Found in northeastern Arkansas.
