Description: Always rare and highly sought after, here we have a very nice Ross County style Clovis. On the primary blade face there is an offset shallow flute extending up from the base 3/4". On the opposite face, there is a central flute 1/2" long with a smaller narrower flute running parallel to it. On the same blade face there is 3 platformed 'Over Shot' Fakes all parallel to each other. These are all characteristics of early Paleo Clovis Culture projectile point assemblages found throughout the Southerneastern USA.. Made of extremely glossy dark burnt orange to mahogany brown Coastal Plains Chert.
