Description: Made of beautiful fine dark brown Slate, this Gorget was anciently broken. The creator went to great lengths to decorate this with incised cross hatching designs and finely worked tally marks all around the edges. Still a fine piece.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Jackson Co. Alabama.
