Description: Tick Island Drilled Pottery Pendant. Note the 2nd drill hole that were started, but didn't drill thru.Tick Island material is highly sought after. This is typical of other such pendants from the Early Woodland Era that were found on this site. Found within the shell middens that were extracted by a commercial dragline and barge operation that operated during the early 1970's. (see the last picture)
