Description: Grade 10 outstanding example, made of beautiful, heavily patinated light yellow Crowley's Ridge Chert. Double Fluted with large singular channel flutes extending 1 1/2" up from the center of the base. The flaking is classic early Paleo with broad percussion flaking and cross over flaking as well. Excellent edge work all down the blade, with heavy grinding along the lower lateral edges and the base. Comes with a 2007 Sam Williams C.O.A.

Provenance: Found on private property with permission by in Lawrence Co. in northeast Arkansas near the town of Alicia. Black River Basin. Ex: C B Webb Major Spessard.
