Description: Made of pretty black ryolite with streaks of tan. The base and the notches are ground smooth. Asymmetry of the blade indicates that this was used as a hafted knife. An Early Archaic, Big Sandy Point with some size and well made.
Provenance: Found in western VA. Ex Larry Garvin; Ex Major Spessard Collection.
