Description: Found metal detecting a Mid to Late 1700's Indian Village. Muskets were traded to the Indians for animal furs and this is Musket Sear is in excellent condition. The Sear allowed you to cock the Frizzen so as to prepare to fire the gun. The rust has been completely removed and a coat of rust inhibitor has been applied. It is ready for display and will never rust again.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Found in Russell Co. Alabama
