Description: Middle to late Woodland Weeden Island Culture Plainware Bowl. This dates from between 400 to 900 AD. Complete or near complete pottery from this area of discovery are very rare. Despite the small damage to the rim it is very solid and stable. Believe it or not this was found on the surface in a plowed field.
