Description: There is a lot to like in this Clovis Point. Lacking any large central flutes, the base was thinned by several well-placed percussion flakes creating a thin base to facilitate hafting. There is some very impressive 'Cross Over' flakes driven off the blade. The first one above the strikes for the base, goes complete across the point and exists the other side. The other above it, is placed collaterally and match up perfectly. As you approach to top half of the blade there is even some transverse parallel flaking to be seen. A full 1 inch of the lateral edges of the blade are heavily ground, as is the base. A really nice Paleo Culture Clovis Bullet.
