Description: Very rare to find a projectile point with a hafting stain that shows clearly particularly on one side where the pitch was applied. A close examination of the stone revealed this interesting feature. The outline is clean and the feathered flaking is great with all the flakes removed so expertly that the point feels smooth when you rub up and down the blade.

Provenance: Found on private property with permission near a sinkhole in Northwest Marion Co. Florida. Found just south of Wacahoota Florida.
