Description: Amazingly fine Cobbs Knife made of patinated Tallahatta Quartzite. The attractive orange color is a rust stain caused by being in long contact with Ferric (iron) oxides. These Knives were used during the Paleo era on into the Bolen Culture. Grinding is present all the way up the blade until the strong steep beveled blade starts. Exceptionally fine strong serrations run down the beveled blade.
