Description: This is an extremely nice and very rare Megalonyx sloth caniniform tooth. It is well mineralized and solid. Attractive specimen with a very nice glossy patina. Great wear pattern to the occlusal (chewing) surface.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Found in Jackson Co. Fl. Chipola River.
