Description: These are from a Woodland Era context preserved in a cave and dug back in the 1940's by an archeologist (Writing on the beads are his catalog numbers). It consists of 9 long Bird Bone Beads (Very rare this long) that were cut and polished, some with panels with several having tally marks cut into the bone on 2 sides; 1 grooved cylindrical hourglass shaped drilled Red Jasper Bead.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Found in a cave in Western Kentucky in the 1940's.
