Description: Very attractive Cypress Creek Spear made of creamy white Florida Chert. Thin and made with a high degree of proficiency. This is one of those points that when you hold it- man it screams quality. The only reason I didn't give it a Grade 10 is because of a very small minor ancient overstrike on the upper part of the blade edge. Impressively worked with large percussion flakes removed to create the blade with fine edge work all along the blade edges. Cypress Creek point are a Late Archaic evolution from the Newnan complex.
