The thickness and heavy pressure flaking along the edges is typical of Late/Terminal Archaic pieces in the area, especially Flint Creek/Pontchartrain types and related knives. Diamond shaped in cross section with heavy serrations nearly its whole length. Not ground. Rare to find anything like this.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Benton Co. Tennessee near the Tennessee River, Ex: Tom Gilbert, Charles Millen Collection.
