Description:An exceptionally thin well made Simpson projectile point which displays very unusual oblique transverse flaking pattern not typically seen on Southeastern Paleo projectiles. Near the tip it exhibits a small impact fracture which was anciently resharpened. Hafting area is nicely thinned and smoothed. A museum quality Simpson point that displays magnificent flaking and an extremely heavy patina.
