Description: My longest Tool offering. At 6 1/2" this is a beast! Totally impractical for anything other than use as a Butchering Tool for Ice Age Megafauna. My largest uniface blade features steep beveled edges that mound up high to a flat cream colored outer cortex of the parent rock. The flaking is aggressive with large parallel flakes taken off of the leading edge of the blade. The material is a reddish orange Chert. This grabs your attention immediately when you see it and it fits perfectly in the hand. Unmistakably a Clovis Man Butchering Tool.
